With the end of the Cold War in 1990, many scholars and politicians hoped for a new era of peace and prosperity around the world. However, many observers have noted that these hopes were unfounded, as the 1990s saw more war, more refugees, and more political turmoil than any previous period in recent history. For example, beginning with the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990, there was a sharp increase in the number of major armed conflicts around the world. More recently, we have seen genocides in Rwanda and Bosnia.
With these three theories, I’ll dispel all the myths surrounding capitalism and demonstrate its benefits to the world.
