Past medical history: Anxiety, Insomnia, GERD

Denies Allergies

Presents with chief complaint of dizziness associated with nausea and vomiting.

Pt reports dizziness goes away when he is sitting and not moving.

Pt report vomit is clear.

V/S Temp 37.5c Pulse 88, RR 18, B/P 143/77, Spo2 97% on RA

Dix-Hallpike maneuver

Ordered: CT head to be done out patient

Ordered: Auditory – Otoacoustic Emission

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)

Differential diagnosis:

1-Meniere’s disease

2-Labyrinthitis

3-Brain Tumor
